Tournaments in 2026

We will be running two tournaments in 2026;

Essex Futures 2* - Colchester 2026 - Saturday 7th February - event for U11 through to U17 players

Colchester Open (Tier 4) - 18th and 19th April 2026 - for players with a BE grade of F or below. Suitable for local league players.

Membership Structure (2025/26)

Full Membership will be by a monthly Direct Debit of £30. This includes priority booking for all Tuesday night club sessions and the option to play in our teams.

If numbers allow we will open up spaces in the Tuesday session to guests. The fee for guests is £10. We can take card payments.

For those that want to join our teams but are unable to attend club sessions we have decided to offer an associate membership for an annual fee of £20 to cover the cost of team entries, player registrations, etc. The committee is trying to find a good balance of fairness and value for money for all our players.

Saxons are Back! Hear them Roar

The new National Badminton League will be launched in the coming days but we're excited to report that there will be a team based in Ipswich / Colchester to be called "The Saxons". See more at their website https://saxons-badminton.uk) 

The first home match will be on Monday 8th December at the Corn Exchange in Ipswich. Details about tickets will be available soon.
